HBO turned down Dimitri Sartison and Caleb Truax as Andre Ward opponents

He built himself....they didn't give him the talent he brings to the sport.

He sells the fights...they just show them....and diss him...which is why he left them in the dust.

I remember a couple of years ago when everyone around here was talking about how Mayweather had no choice but to put up with the insults from Merchant. Everyone was high-fiving Merchant for his antics.


Mayweather said fcuk you and went with Showtime. HBO is definitely suffering because of this. And when he brings other fighters onto his undercards, it makes HBO suffer that much more.

After seeing last night's fight with Truax, I'm glad HBO didn't shell out the 7 figures it'd have taken to make Ward-Truax happen.

 

These were Ward's top choices before he faced E-Rod?

People really need to realize that Wards problem is his demands.

Ward has something wrong in his head or body. This leaves us guessing; shoulder, mental health, weight problems, drugs, PEDs etc.

My guess is long term use of PEDs and serious side effects.

 

He can always give Pavlik a call again.
