compared to alot of other boxers tho, he does have a pretty solid fanbase tho. the problem is, they keep putting him in 1-man shows against nobodies and he ends up not looking good against them. plus Arum isnt promoting him that well.
Ya exactly, cats with enough extra cash to actually own hbo. I think a more accurate gauge of popularity would be polling esb members on which fights they made sure they watched live vs which ones they waited to watch the next day on YouTube.
yeah, my dad and a bunch of uncles and older family members love them some Bhop. but dont really care for anyone else boxing besides floyd and manny. he's still a pretty big draw and relevant today. i dont blame him that he keeps fighting.
Surprised Hopkins/Dawson did that well, as others mentioned. Hopefully, that portends well for Ward/Dawson. Unfortunately, Ward's big fights happened off HBO.
Don't read ANYTHING into these numbers. Most people watch "After Dark" because they bumped into it before the program they wanted to see comes on. I'd bet that 90% of those numbers are people that think Muhammad Ali & Mike Tyson are still fighting.
Both are better boxers than the horseface hypejob in your avatar will ever be. "Turn that boxing show on maybe Floyd Mayweather is finally fighting Muhammad Ali" "No Ali is dead I think. I bet Mike Tyson is fighting Brock Lesnar"
