Since HBO was $5 off for the next three months, I got it. That makes it the same price as Sho. (plus I really want to see Froch/Groves II on Saturday. )

After the 3 months are done, I'll try Showtime for the same price as I got HBO. That way, I can sample both.

Thanks for everyone's input. Sometimes I want to learn too fast and I get way ahead of myself. I appreciate the information.

As everyone has said, there's something about HBO, however, I would rather have someone punching me in the ear while watching the fight than listen to RJJ, so I'll go with Showtime.

I love Lampley, like Kellerman (used to despise him).

Bernstein is good, like him, Malignaggi is by FAR the best fighter commentator and, besides Lamps, the best comentator, period.

Mauro I generally don't care for, but I love the chemistry between all the Showtime crew, including Brian Kenny, or BK :)

Love Jim Grey, too. Asks the tough questions.

Probably HBO, even though I can't stand Kellerman. Both have some good and some bad personel.

Honestly though I would like to be able to mute the commentators every now and then as both can be quite biased at times.
Muting the sound completely takes away a lot of the atmosphere, but I often do so if I am serious about scoring a fight.

    - And it just always helps on the atmosphere to have Michael Buffer in the ring in my opinion.
