I think Bute wipes the floor with Pavlik, Bute is bigger, faster, stronger and moves very well. What do you guys think? I think HBO doesn't like Pavlik anymore:D why else put him in with this guy who can clearly beat him?

I don't think Pavlik will fight Bute. I think he'll prefer to stay on Top Rank PPV before he does that! Bute is all wrong for Pavlik. He'll give him a boxing lesson, then knock him out.

Bute wont be able to take pavliks power mid rounds Ko for pavlik imo.Bute is the worst of the 168 fighters out there of the super six imo.
If hopkins couldn't ko pavlik there's no way a fighter not even 1/4 as good as hopkins is going to.

People have written off Pavlik far too soon.

Kelly has just signed a 3 year deal, exclusive to Latin Fury PPV's, so just cut this **** out.

This Bute ****er is NOT going to ruin my meal ticket!

he needs to fight williams first at 160. he can't leave that division w/ unfinished business like that. it seems hbo may want a bute fight but from what i have heard kelly wants williams.

but as far as bute goes, yeah man he'd give anyone at 168 (pav included) fits. bute looked very good and from what i've seen he'd be right there in the super six. but he does some things that can be taken advantage of, but i dunno how pav is going to do against a top shelf smw who is also a southpaw.

and before you ask :D what i am referring to is bute's very very low right hand. i know everyone is sick of hearing about kelly's jab but he does have a good one and a hammer of a straight right which is always good to have against a southpaw. andrade didnt seem very concerned about using the jab he was just trying to get in close and maul bute which obviously didnt work out too well. but andrade did start to land a little but again, bute was just too much.

but i have to admit that bute's movement and speed and power may just be too much for kelly or anyone at 168 right now. he looked damn good

Pavlik has no intention on moving up at the present time, I doubt he will take this fight. He wants Williams after espino.

I think Hopkins depicted Pavlik and exposed him as a fighter when he said Pavlik will find out that he's been lied to all this time. Pavliks is done man hell never recuperate after that loss.

Is there an article about HBO wanting Bute vs. Pavlik in 2010 or it comes from your own conclusion?

Bute might as well win the fight, but I don't understand how people can so easily pick Bute by KO? Bernard Hopkins literally was catching Pavlik with clean punches and Pavlik did not even flinch(yes he did get his ass kicked for 12 rounds, no doubt). I have never rated andrade, in my older posts, I was one of the few that called him the Margarito of 168 pound division. No defense, high punch output with a granite chin.
Pavlik's defense is underrated in my opinion, he does good job keeping his hands up most of the time, throwring a heavy jab. He also has surprising head and upper body movement. If there is one thing that future Bute opponents need to scout is, activity coupled with decent defense and heavy hands is Butes downfall(watch bute andrade 1) for the perfect example. Andrade pressuring him to the last second of round 12. This fight is a LOOOOOT closer then people think and would not be surprised if Pavlik pulled it off. I would not be hesistant to be put pavlik in there with Bute when he leaves 160 for good.
