HBO wants Bute vs. Pavlik in 2010. Bute destroys Pavlik IMO (poll)

well considering pav was set up to be miranda's big opportunity to hype a miranda/taylor fight that never happened...i'm sure this fact won't bother him. winning has a funny way of changing who likes you and who doesnt in the corporate world, wouldnt you agree??

 

Good analysis. I'll wait until Pavlik fights again, despite the limited competition he is facing, before giving too much weight to one side or another on this potential matchup. It would be a rather interesting scrap, though, and outside of the Williams bout, it's the best fight Pavlik can make.

 

Pavlik Vs. Williams/Martinez winner first.
& Before that he still has Espino (Remember he losses that fight & it's back to ESPN)

BUt that:

This fight isn't happening and if it does it will probably happen sometime in summer 2010.

 

Sturm has a meeting with Roach coming up. Sturm/Mora on a Pavlik/Williams undercard would be a good deal. Strum/Mora would not be a "fan Friendly" fight, but it would put Sturm against a known guy on HBO.

 

Pavlik will never fight Bute. Bute next fight will be against Robert Stieglitz or Edison Miranda on HBO next spring.

 

Stylewise Bute is a horrible matchup for Pavlik. Bute by TKO.
