    Pavlik cancelled twice on Paul & turned down Sturm due to money.

    You must really be head over heels in love with Pavlik. He can do no wrong in your eyes.

    bute to smart and fast for flat footed stiff legs pavlik, but then again pavlik dose have the punchers chance and he dose his best work from the outside(bute isnt b hop in terms of in fighting), still think bute out classes the ghost, wide UD

    Peterson and Paul don't believe he had the intention of fighting him and will never waste their time with Kelly Pavlik again. Paul said that this was a very expensive training camp and with the delays from team Pavlik that they don't want to work with him again. If you notice they also talk about going back down to WW.

    Pavlik - Lockett broke the record for lowest HBO world championship boxing(Cotto - Gomez held that record). He will be lucky if HBO still deals with him. And they are not buying these bull**** fights anymore, that's why you going to see him on TR PPV. The only way Pav gets on HBO is with a very credible opponent and after he has proven his sickly ass can make it through a training camp!

    Damn Boo, The fight of the year would have been this Saturday.

    Honestly, it was HBO's idea!!!!

    Lockett was an Enzo Calzaghe fighter, and at that time Slappy couldn't speak in complete sentences without mentioning KP's name. Arum gave HBO tape of 5 guys, and HBO ****ing PICKED Lockett!:patsch

    honestly i think Pavlik's 1-2 catches Bute eventually within 10 rounds and he gets knocked out or tko'd.

    I doubt if anything like that would happen in under 10 rounds. Pavlik would have to find ways to get away with playing the bully and wear Bute out. That might slow Lucian down enough so KP could catch him with something huge in the last couple rounds.

    Question is if Bute wants the fight 2013, after Pavlik-Espino, Espino rematch, Pavlik vs. the loser of Williams-Martinez, rematch on that one, Pavlik vs. some latin guy with a record of 0-55, and so on.

    i know i know. i'm just saying that it will be difficult to say no out of principle b/c you feel you were ****ed over before if you have a fight for the mw title for more money than you would make fighting 2 or 3 fights at 154 staring at you. doubt anyone worthy will fight him at 147.
