I agree, though I respect what Hopkins has done over his career I will NOT buy another one of his snoozefest fights.

I think Pavlik outworks Hopkins while Hopkins outfights Pavlik in spots. Hopkins will do just enough to ***** about the scores afterwards but will never really make a concerted effort to impose his will.

 

Yu know, no one in thier right effin' mind could ever disagree that B-Hop has secured his place in any boxing hall of fame. But the guy has a zillion dollars in the bank, a wife of what, 14/15 years, TKO'd De La Hoya (the only one to do so, mind u). Bernard, you've done great, brother. effin' retire. If it's not on PPV, I'm fine with a Hopkins-Calzaghe fight.

Don't assume Pavlik would win - he has not fought anyone as clever as Hopkins.

It would be an interesting if not exciting match-up.

I think Pavlik is too one-dimensional to beat Hopkins. Whilst that aforementioned dimension is very good, the key to winning is to remain one step ahead, which Calzaghe managed for a fair portion of the fight, and to outwork him for the duration.

KP can do one, but not both. Hopkins UD in a stinker.

I reckon Hopkins could have Kelly's number , but if Pavlik wants a fight with Calzaghe this is the way to go about it .

Beating Rubio/Duddy/Mora , infact anyone at Middleweight bar maybe Abraham should he beat Miranda doesn't help hype a Pavlik v Calzaghe fight at all . This would and should Pavlik win it I think the pressure on both camps to make the fight would be too much and it would happen .
