    I think a series of showcase bouts for Pavlik ending in spectacular KO's with Rubo, Duddy and Mora would do more then a Ugly points win over Hopkins to set up a bout with Calzaghe.:nono
    I like Arum plan to have Pavlik fight Rubio and then Abraham this year and maybe Kessler next as all these fight style wise and action wise are winners and will end in KO's:bbb
    As for Calzaghe vs Pavlik I really think it gonna happen in 2009 as I don't think Jones is gonna be able to make a deal with with Calzaghe Jones will want to much money for the fight:bart

    Hopkins is going to want to prove a point, and Kelly needs to beat Hopkins or even Kessler to make a fight with Calzaghe happen.

    I see Hopkins as being far too clever to be beaten by someone like Kelly Pavlik, you need more than a 1-2 and durability to beat Hopkins - he's far too crafty to lose to that.

    Yeah what ever..Cuz we all know that Kessler faired sooo much better vs Calzaghe then Hopkins did...I mean almost everyone thought that Kessler won:roll:

    well i will not be buying this hbo fight if it happens -BHOP give it a rest for gods sake and retire! i cnt be asked to watch his boring style and then moan afterwards when he loses "i won the fight, i bust him up, i took him to school -philly style" and then we all say back to BHOP "but bernard u did nothing but hug and throw 3-8 punches a round" its starting to get annoying now.

    I'm a fan of Hopkins but he clearly has nothing left. I don't want to see him get knocked out. He should go for a very winnable fight against Jones. No one will complain if he does that at the age of 43.

    Hopkins should have never said that **** about lossing to a whiteboy, now HBO wants him to get knocked the **** out by one.
    Honestly I think they want this fight to basicly use to hype up a Pavlik Calzaghe fight.
