Apparently for some people a guy plodding forward getting his brains beaten out= winning rounds.

The only thing Ruslan has going for him is a chin but even that will be gone soon.

Bro, Lucas was done in round 11 but only briefly; he recovered quickly.

I don't think HBO was biased in tonight's fight. Most of the way they were saying how Matthysse was laying it on Provo, even saying maybe the fight should be stopped. Matthysse won this fight but Provo hung in there, even had a shot in the 11th but didn't try to finish. I think he was spent at that point. Not enough left in the gas tank. Matthysse has natural power, real power.

Actually you will find that if you listened to the post fight interview Mathysse told Lampley that he was hurt bad in the 11th and became weak from that shot. So if anyone is a disgrace it's you who with all the advantages of replays and more information still cant call it correctly. **** off

    Clearly pro-Provodnikov.

I noticed it during the ring walks when Jim was stressing about how Provodnikov vs. Algieri was a highly controversial outcome... where was that talk in all the HBO promo for Pacquiao vs. Algieri?

Lampley and the rest of the HBO commentators always kiss the ass of popular fighters on their network. It's what they are known for. Showtime is known for being a watered down imitation of HBO. ESPN is known for Teddy Atlas' histrionics. Box Nation is known for a ridiculous amount of nationalistic favoritism. PBC is getting known for putting a football commentator in charge of calling boxing matches. And Box Azteca is known for not speaking my language.

I watched on boxnation and the commentators were the opposite: Didn't seem to get excited about it at all.

Lucas was hurt and could have been the end!!

Lampley over reacted but it was as real as it gets!

Barely stunned, dodged the next punch and recovered easily. Colonel Bob Sheridan had it right and the punch was barely acknowledged on the decent commentary. Ruslan got owned in a dominant display and lost all but maybe three rounds (and that's being kind).

You would have loved a corrupt decision following a dominant display?

You lot must have watched a different fight to me Mattyse 's head did most of the damage to Ruslan All 3 of his losses were very close Neither were clear losses. A rematch should be in order
