Jim Lampley is so much superior to Bob Papa. Harold Lederman was terrible tonight. I am an American but I know Kotelnik won that fight. He won round 2 and from round 6 to the end I had him winning every round. At the least it should have been a draw. Imo, Prescott would knock Alexander out if he came out the same way he did tonight.

Lederman was an absolute disgrace. He gave Alexander the first 5 rounds without any explanation. Then used the "busy" argument. I'd say 2/3 of Alexander's shots didn't even come close to connecting for most of that fight.

Yeah, I always thought getting credit for being busy meant you still outlanded the other guy even if he landed the better shots. :think

Kotelnik landed more punches overall along with being more accurate and landing the better shots. And, even though it's no judging measure, Kotelnik didn't even look like he was in a fight tonight- Devon sure as hell did by the time it was all said and done.

I dont think it was a robbery, he was the home guy and he fought hard, the other guy was effective but the total punches were close so it wasnt a robbery, it could had gone either way

Both fights were highly competitive and HBO gave lots of credit to both 'losers'.

These were two action fights, I guess you can never please boxing fans.

I thought Papa and Max were great and they surprised me in that they were even-handed. You know Lampley would have had the pom-poms out for Alexander. Lederman was definitively terrible in the second fight.

They should have definitely interviewed Kotelnik and Max as usual sucks at post fight interviews + only having a two man booth sucks

    BUT

This was a very entertaining night of fights IMO, the main event being so competitive was a pleasant surprise, both fights were good.. Best HBO show since the Pavlik/Martinez event.
