Thurman pushing hard, like always. - But he'd better get his left up, and fast. If Quintana recovers, Thruman is ripe for a counter.

    Round 1

Thurman moves in, not throwing any punches yet. Quintana springs to the side, popping out his right jab. Thurman tries to back him in a corner, thrusting out straight power shots as Quintana ducks in and holds. Southpaw 1-2 by Quintana. Left hook to the body by Thurman jumping in, just nicking Quintana as he scoots back. Wild right uppercut by Thurman misses. Quintana pushes the right jab, then waves it in Thurman's face. Big left hook to the body by Thurman. Attempted right hand behind the jab by Thurman, unable to locate Quintana. Big slapping hook by Thurman moving in, sliding along Quintana's back as the Puerto Rican ducks away. Thurman misses a hook but rushes in and stuffs an underhanded right behind it, catching Quintana as he ducks. Big left hook to the body by Thurman on the outside. Quintana is saved by the bell.

    10-8 Thurman

    Thurman 10-8.

Quintana was having a good round moving away from Thurman and countering until that bodyshot dropped him.

Beautiful stuff by Thurman, he kept his eyes on Quintana and fooled him.
