Wonder if Thurman can keep throwing these power shots into the later rnds. He's using a lot of energy throwing them bombs.

    Round 2

Quintana is circling with quickened steps, staying just barely off the ropes. Thurman tries to walk him down, crossing his feet over laterally and zeroing in, looking to set up power shots. Thurman checks a Quintana right jab on his left glove. Clubbing right by Thurman, glancing the top of Quintana's head and forcing him to sit on the ropes before lunging in to hold. They wrestle against the ropes until a stop is ordered. Thurman follows and doubles a right hand to the face as Quintana ducks back against the ropes once more.

    20-17 Thurman

I'm getting the feeling as soon as Quintana gets pinned to the ropes he's going down again. Roy wasn't laughing at Hatton, I don't think. That was his dismissive chuckle.

Quintana has been in with some very good punchers, but he's literally running scared from Thurman's power.

That's what he does. The guy never stops throwing combos. Such a fun fighter to watch.

...and Thurman moved up in weight for this.

    Impressive stuff given Thurman's age.

Maybe he is laughing at himself, thinking "**** I should have retired like Hatton."
