He won every round from 5-12. Clearly.

Williams was on the verge of getting KTFO all down the stretch. He was brave to keep coming forward and letting his hands go, but he was getting tooled.

 

They were clearly biased, no question. And their bias has made helped create all this controversy. I had this fight much closer. I thought Lara won, but the fight was much closer than the HBO guys made it seem.

I'm not a fan of compubox, but sometimes it does tell the truth. look at the pct% of both guys, it's ridiculous

 

So coming forward with aggression and getting tagged in the process equates to winning now. Attaining a new threshold for stupidity?

 

What a ****ing stupid argument when people say PW won because of work rate. Work rate means nothing if your punches are doing nothing to your opponent. Effective punching is more important than slap punches

 

The sport is called boxing, not swinging. Lara clearly won this fight. For those who don't think so are either P.Williams riders or have no idea what boxing is about. Williams threw about twice as many punches as Lara and was still outlanded.

 

I formed my own opinion. It was "****, this is gruesome. Why isn't Williams' corner throwing in the towel???" - including in round 10.

Just because Williams never did a chicken dance or anything doesn't mean he wasn't getting badly hurt all throughout the fight. That was a severe beating, without Lara even coming close to matching his output.
