Too bad the corrupt judges ruined a great night of boxing.

HBO has more subscriptions than Showtime, so not very surprised about that that. Better card by far was on Showtime with no outrageous judging.

Didn't expect that, because Khan vs Alex was the better fight on paper at least.

Damn, I thought for sure Showtime would win this time, but that was really surprising.

If Floyd/Pac happens, it needs to be on HBO, not that second rate network Showtime. It makes no financial/business sense to put it there exclusively.

    1. So, more people have HBO, that isn't indicative of boxing popularity but subscription popularity.

    2. Head to head comp between networks isn't necessarily the best thing for boxing as a whole.

    3. The Showtime card was still a better overall card.

Notice how networks didn't become a fanboy tool by Pacquiao fans until Floyd went to Showtime. Now all the Pacquiao fans talk **** about it.

If you search back, you'll see pac fans praising SHO/CBS when Pac was going there around the Mosley fight which was on SHO. They lick wherever Pac's nuts swing.

It could be. You also need to understand that boxing is not the only reason why people subscribe to HBO. They also offer a variety of new movies, sport documentary such a real sports with Brian Gumble and NFL documentary such as Hard Knocks. The number doesn't lie. HBO has higher subscription than Showtime. Compare Adrian Bronner's HBO numbers to his showtime number and you will understand what I'm talking about. In fact I will go as far as saying that if Bradley fight on Saturday was on Showtime and Khan was on HBO, Khans number would have crushed Bradley's number by much higher disparity.
