So showing us exciting "fight of the year candidates" such as Ibragimov - Briggs, Rahman - Toney, Holyfield - Ruiz, Oquendo - Holyfield, Peter - Toney or Arreola - McCline was a sign of great business acumen?

    Please. Stop kidding yourself.

HBO embarrassed themselves over and over again with garbage HW fights, Ibragimov - Wlad was just one out of a whole series of ****-ups that left a sour taste in the mouth of US HW fans who felt like they were being bullshitted with unworthy fights and match-ups.

Note HBO is not kissing only the Klits good bye, they are kissing the entire division good bye because HBO THEMSELVES is guilty of bringing too many **** HW fights to American homes, thus driving fan interest to the lower weight divisions.

There you go again. You must have really low self esteem if that's the way you converse with people.
Newsflash - your opinion is not fact. It will do you good to remember that.

Prime Vitali made a fight of it and it appealed to the crowd's base lust for blood. Thanks to Vitali for bleeding so much and satisfying the crowd, by the way. His grit an determination more than outweighed his skill and he sure looked mean with a face like a tenderised steak.

It would have been rude not to cheer for a guy so willing to continue, even with half of his face hanging off, whilst beginning to be made to look like the ordinary lump that he is.

If you realised how dumb it makes Vitali Klitschko fans appear, when they glorify a face-pummelling loss as their man's finest hour, you'd keep your thoughts about that fight to yourself. It really does not do Vitali any credit at all when you constantly bring up his failure to lift the title from an ageing, overweight, disinterested Lewis, who'd only really continued Boxing, after the Tyson win, on the promise he'd get a Tyson rematch. Vitali only got the opportunity by a twist of fate. It couldn't have fallen more perfectly for him but, unlike the opportunity itself, Vitali fell very short.

Lewis was on the verge of retirement before he faced Vitali. Once disposed of, Vitali posed no real challenge or motivation for Lewis to continue. He'd done everything he needed to, defeated every man he'd ever faced and, even in the worst condition of his career, Lewis still beat a Prime Vitali - only underlining the point that the division is currently dominated by sub-standard Heavyweights.

    Well said!
Tired of the KLit sister fan-atics always WHINING about "If The Klits were this, or if the Klits were that" BS. They got more excuses then a car thats got liver pills.

    The plain and obvious facts are;
-The KLITS aren't that talented. They are just very TALL.
-The KLITS are BORING! They could put the most invloved boxing fan to sleep.
-Neither KLIT has ever defeated an ATG.
-They choose to fight out of Germany. The worst officiating country in the world.
-The KLITS are lucky the HW division is experiencing a talent drought. Be lucky for TIMING.

Stop whining and crying and take what you get. :smoke

I never said my opinion was fact, friend. Furthermore, I have no idea what your beef is. My guess is that you're insulted that I was insulting a resident of the UK. Well, the poster that I was conversing with was stupid and he didn't know his arse from his elbow when it came to boxing. He insulted me several times and called me arrogant simply because I come from America. A lesson for the future: know the score before you get involved in an argument. It's clear that you stepped in because you are a chauvanistic poster from the UK.

It would be a great win, if it was a win. It was a loss. You see the word win was in quotes because it wasn't a win. He got his face smashed off and lost by TKO because the doctor decided he wouldn't be much use blind in one eye. When your best "win" (notice the quotes) is a loss then you have not done well for yourself. He's the Josh Clottey of the heavyweights.

Regarding Lewis, his resume includes Ruddock, Tucker, Morrison, Mercer, Briggs, Holyfield, Tyson...all of those guys more talented than the current nobodies that the K-brothers feast on. Fair play to them, they fight the guys who are there, but the guys who are there are pretty bad. And, of course, Lewis has VK on his resume as a win as well. And he avenged his only two losses.

Who has VK beat that compares to any of that?

 LOL, You are CRAZY if you think the soup cans like Danny Williams, Kirk Johnson, Herbie Hide and Sanders stack up against Tucker, Morrison, Briggs, and Razon Ruddock.

Either boxer in the former list would or have beaten the "C" level fighters in the latter list.

LMAO @ U, but keep trying to pull the wool over da eyes. :rofl

Yes Farmy it is a conspiracy by HBO to keep the white man down, is that what you want to hear? you ****ing degenerate. The Klitschko's don't make HBO enough cash to carry every one of their fights. HBO is in the business of making money, not catering to idiots.

You're making assumptions again. I haven't stepped in at all. You've insulted myself and many others in other threads for no other reason than we've disagreed with you. You don't seem to have the capacity to be objective when talking about the Klits like many others here.
