This goes to show your lack of knowledge. Vitali was to appear on the undercard of Lewis/Johnson, before Kirk pulled out, and so he had been in training camp, leading up to the fight. Even Vitali confirmed his readiness for the bout.

I highlight and respond to this line only because the rest of your post is the pointless noise I expect to hear from a deluded flag-waiver. :hi:

The reason Vitali got the bout is as I posted before this. Even after Johnson pulled out, Lewis could have said no but he went ahead and done his job, much to Vitali's dismay. Not giving Vitali a rematch has been more than adequately explained for those with average intelligence.

If you think this is proof that Lewis had been ducking Klitschko for 3 years prior then you're a loony and beyond the help of a Boxing Forum. :verysad

damn..... some of the dumbest posts ive seen for awhile up in here.

    - Klits arent talented, they are just tall.... :patsch

    Prime example.....

That being said, ill be honest, i dont blame HBO entirely here.... I am a huge Wlad fan and have been for better part of a decade. Hes one of my all time favorite fighters, but if showing his fights are bad buisness, WHY would they continue doing so?

I understand its a bad overall principle.... not showing the best heavyweight in the world and the champion for the most part.... and i wish they would, but i dont see how anyone can be super shocked at this or super mad at the decision the writing has been on the wall for awhile now.

Bad for boxing fans, but its not like we wont be able to see them fight.... we find a way one way or another and especially if showtime picks up the klits then no harm done.

I dont like this move, and wish it wasnt to be, but i understand it.

    Hmm then explain this:

Why was Lennox initially planning to fight Johnson for the IBO belt only, not for his WBC belt? The WBC threatened to strip him if he fought Johnson instead of Vitali, so then Lewis said "fine, I rather take a fat slob like Johnson and fight for the IBO belt". Then Johnson pulled out with an injury and ONLY then it became a WBC defense.

Why did Lewis initially prefer Johnson for the less-recognized IBO belt over Vitali for the WBC?

It's likely that Wlad is on steroids and HBO knows this

They suck. And stink the joint out on most fights, period.

"Why is the big tall strong guy just prodding the fat small guy with a jab for 12 rounds?"

    Sums up the Sisters ^^^^^

Wlad isn't on steroids. Granted his fight are boring as ****, but he gets the jb done, and he probably would beat the majority of greats from the past whether people like to accept it or not.

5 to 10 yrs ago, the bros. were prolly concerned about keeping an HBO contract, but since 2005, the bros. have amassed a huge dumpload of cabbage and no longer give a rats hairy ass as to whether HBO wants them or not....... Its called being "Filthy Rich" and set for life....... The brothers own property on both sides of the Atlantic pond.......

The bros hold every physical advantage over every opponent that they face, yet fight like scared deers. Wlad looks absolutely terrified when someone gets close to him, and just prods his jab for 12 rounds to keep the distance so no one can crack his china chin again. Effective, but boring.

In June of 2003, Lewis was scheduled to KO Kirkland Johnson and V.K. was schedule to dismantle either Jameel McCline or Cedric Boswell...... Klitschko was having an issue with a set opponent / victim for June 2003..... At any rate, both Lewis and V. Klit were expected to be in good shape no matter who the victims were to be......

Thats the second time you've asked me that, im not a minor so take your grooming elsewhere, i find it funny that someone who is involved in their camp is the biggest nuthugger fanboy on the site defending every post (which is someones opinion) that you dont agree with.

    Seems very unprofessional
