HBO will only approve Wlad/Haye for July 11, not interested in Chagaev as replacement

Swann, I was just wondering, what Haye fight-weigh in was that picture you have to left of the screen for?

I hope Bonte goes to ESPN to air the fight.

HBO is not the final word on this.

Here's still hoping for Chag Wlad to be the fight.
    :good

It would be nice if the ****heads would stop with the pathetic "Haye <sniff> battling through injury <sniff> warrior <sniff> so true warrrrior <sniff> <baaaaaaah> mean Klitschko <baaaaaaah>". I don't think you're serious anyway, but it's actually beginning to bore on the long run.

Regarding the delay to July 11th, I would do the following: DO IT, but have Haye sign a contract that if he pulls out AGAIN when approaching the new date, he has to cover ALL of the costs AND a mandatory fine to pay Klitschko for postponing AGAIN. I wouldn't have objected to V. Klitschko having to pay for cancelling his defense with Rahman so many times, although he was the defending champion and not a contender in a voluntary fight.

If Haye doesn't sign that, intending to get a broken toe on July 10th "begging all his many fans to forgive him again, and he will SURELY fight on August 25", go over and fight someone else. Put Haye on the queue (to get knocked out cold by say, Arreola, Solis, Atomic Bull, Thompson, Peter, etc.).

Thats exactly what I mean, HBO and the other networks need to start listening to it's boxing fans more. Most of us know better than them, what people want to see when it comes to boxing.

Unlike most of the fighters that were mentioned as a Haye replacement, none of them have an enertaining personality to get the mainstream fans attention. Thats part of the reason fighters like Ali and Tyson got so much attention, not only did they put on exciting fight in the ring, they knew how to promote a fight. Something thats lost in todays Heavyweights, other than Haye I cant think of any other Heavyweight whose good behind a mic , can you?

No one cares about him fighting Chagaev other than his fanboys, a few weirdos and a few people recommended to do so as it will cure their insomnia

Hopefully HBO can force him to not be such a ***** and fight Haye on July 11th (remember he wants to punish him... allegedly)

I hope so. It goes hand in hand for the build up to the Mayweather-Marquez fight the following week too. The more I think about it the better it sounds on every level.

I still want Haye vs. Wlad. I'm still on suicide watch, the meds are helping a little.

This would actually be a huge opportunity for Showtime. I doubt they would show it live but at least it would be shown in the states.

Or RTL will just kick up the amount, more East Euro money will come in, and the fight with Chagaev will get made regardless. You Hayelords are something else. Haye pulled out of the fight, not Wlad. 60,000 tickets were sold, rooms were booked, and Wlad tries to save the date by fighting Chagaev.

You want to bag on Chagaev. Chagaev is undefeated, he has a title, the fight would be for the Ring title, he is higher ranked, has wins over Virchis, Ruiz, Valuev and Skelton. I mean seriously if you think a fight versus a career heavyweight, with a punch, who has never been down is easier than a fight versus a cruiser who moved up who has only fought Bonin and Barrett and has been stopped and down multiple times then you're simply a hater.

Exactly a great time for it to happen a week before PBF-JMM.
