HBO will only approve Wlad/Haye for July 11, not interested in Chagaev as replacement

Nobody is bagging on Chag (even though everything you mention is from a LONG time ago as Chag has done nothing of note recently and has looked **** poor recently). He's got a much better resume than Haye.

But resume's in this instance aren't the be all end all. HBO isn't saying no to Chagaev to be assholes about this, It must have something to do with Haye.

i really hope wlad tells HBO and Haye to shove it but it looks like HBO is forcing Wlad's hand which is shameful. If they go ahead and reschedule and Haye pulls out again...Haye, his fans and especially HBO will look like certified dipshits and i will rip into them to no end on here.

seems like they are all doctors and can guarantee for sure haye can go on July 11. how bout that

we do need resolution soon though one way or another. I got to give Chagaev credit though. I didn't think he had the bottle to face Wlad.

Point is that HBO has put on worse fights for the sake of showing off Wlad Klitschko. Ray Austin comes to mind as does THE ROCK.

There has to be a REAL reason why they're clinging to Haye vs Wlad...and I think it's because they know that it's a REALLY big deal for the division. I mean....could imagine the buzz Haye-Wlad has gotten for Wlad vs Chag?

I really think this is a bigger deal than what we're making it out to be.

we'll see. so far over the last 15 months haye's proven he's a class **** talker and can beat Monte Barrett.

 

There is absolutely no reason not to wait till 7/11 for haye now. Like someone suggested put penalties in the contract for postponements or cancellations and get it done.

Dan Rafael: (2:52 PM ET ) OK, here's the deal as of right now: The Klitschko camp has not even yet received a medical report from from the Haye side detailing the injury and saying whether he will able to fight on July 11. They are supposed to get a report later today,

Dan Rafael: (2:53 PM ET ) In addition, the Chagaev fight is NOT a done deal yet for June 20, only that HBO would not show it.

Dan Rafael: (2:54 PM ET ) Further, it is still down to this: either Wlad fights Chagaev on June 20 without HBO or he fights Haye July 11 with HBO. Shelly said the camp has NOT made any decision yet and won't until at the least the point where they see Haye's medical report.
