I really think they'll urge them to trash talk a little in order to build as much hype as they can for their PPV.

They should get them ear pieces and use translators off camera and put sub titles on tv.
Let GGG speak German or Russian.
Lemieux could speak French if he wanted to but his English isn't bad at all.

Bad idea. That's a step backwards when it comes to reaching the american audience, imo.

Yeap I mean when margarito and cotto were trash talking each other on 247 margarito was subtitled and it worked perfectly. I vastly prefer having someone speak his native language and then just putting up english subtitles but it's true that you've also got people who 'cant read while also trying to see things' :nut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEZgtF4w4ao

Won't lie... Hearing Gennady absolutely trash Ward in Russian was pretty epic. I hear he's more trashtalky in his foriegn language anyways. And what he said about Ward was just absolutely brutal. They could give it a try! But 90% of his interviews should still definitely be English-oriented.

These guys are monsters inside the ring, but verbally they are too polite, they need to trash talk more.. this is what they are doing now

    Lemieux: "Golovkin is a beast."

GGG: "Thank you, you are not so un-beastly yourself."

Lemieux: " I will knock you out though, with your permission of course."

GGG: "I would appreciate it if you tried, so we can give the fans a show!"

Lemieux: " I am better than you, no disrespect intended."

GGG: " If you try hard enough, anything is possible!"

Lemieux: " I will be the new unified champ, if you try hard you can too."

    GGG:" Thank you! "

Lemieux: "may the best man win, which could be either of us, regardless off loss."

GGG:" I hope you win! But if you don't mind, can I win as well. Thanks!"

I agree with you on this one. While GGG probably does a much better job expressing himself in his native tongue, his broken English and repetitive catch phrases are what help make him unique and likable.

From GGG's perspective, I'm pretty sure English IS "his foreign language".
