They are exaggerating the damage that Nietes was taking. Sure he was outclassed, but he was blocking most of the head shots, and his face doesn't have damage outside of redness.

 

Good stoppage by the corner. Nieves has guts, but that alone doesn't you to stay with Inoue.

You know, Mikey Garcia dropped Salido about four times in the early rounds and was beating him worse than that. Salido didn't shell up or quit. He swarmed Mikey and started making a fight of it. That's guts. That's heart. These other clowns are just punching bags.

 

Very hard to do that when the opponent's hiding behind a tight guard and not throwing. Wouldn't have been a much more impressive stoppage than the corner stoppage we got. We didn't see the full Inoue arsenal tonight.

Nah Estrada deserves a rematch against Chocolatito. It's a bigger money fight for him and that's the fight he wants.
