    Derevyanchenko is jabbing persistently down the middle, contentedly thudding into the guard and driving Jacobs into the geography he wants, now ripping big right hands rocketing up from the hip in between Jacobs' eyes as he forces him into a corner. Left hooks & right crosses in combination from Derevyanchenko, launching up from a crouch with each burst. Jacobs is caught with at least 2 punches in every 5. Derevyanchenko not sustaining his sequences much beyond half a dozen shots before withdrawing to conserve energy. Jacobs showing good defensive movement and locating the jab well but getting dinged up too much to award him the round.

    Jacobs knows exactly how to take away Derevyanchenko's footwork and punching angle assets. He simply seems to be the guy who did the better homework from their sparring. 3-0 Jacobs.
