I'm a little disappointed in Jacobs. I bet he'd win a UD, but I think I'm gonna' need Julie Lederman to bail me out.

Had enough of fighting at Cruiser is all, actually we seeing history here as it was Jacobs unsportsmanlike antics with the IBF belt that made em change the rules as Jacobs showed the rule could be used against the defending champ.
Bit Ironic how he now wants the IBF belt no?

    Round 6

Derevyanchenko is applying constant pressure, landing good body shots. Jacobs now dancing around, popping jabs and starting to stand in and time Derevyanchenko with his own huge body shots, particularly uppercuts. When he goes headhunting with power shots, Jacobs misses wide but those uppercuts are slowing Derevyanchenko a tad. Derevyanchenko shakes them off and keeps surging forward, and lands a couple of heavy lashing rights up top, sending Jacobs into retreat. Nice chippy left hook downstairs by Jacobs. Derevyanchenko throws several rights, all slipped or blocked as Jacobs leans backward and raises a glove over his chin just in case.

    10-9 Jacobs, SUPER close

    57-56 Derevyanchenko

Well the 5th was definitely Derevyancheko's. He's found his timing more, he's stepping in and punching. But Jacobs doesn't let him take over. Both guys landing and controlling moments, but neither guy controls full rounds. Ok I accept I should've called the 2nd Derevyancheko, 3-2 Jacobs.
