Interesting interview, I'd never heard about the magazine before. Its hard to be totally convinced by anyone his size but the steroid comments did make sense I spose, his brother had always been cut and I can well believe he wasnt looking after himself. As far as Fedor goes though I still think the real issue was never M1(although they were obviously pushing for as much money/influence as possible) or GG but rather SF. You listen to Coker as far back as just after the Rogers fight and he's talking about hyping towards Fedor/Overeem AFTER another 1-2 fights each. Thats IMHO the fight that he thinks could help break SF onto PPV and he wanted both guys(espeically Overeem) to get some more publicity before making it. I don't think you can blame him either as that fight is going to cost a ton of money to put on. I don't think yellow cards are ever going to happen in the US though, too much room for promoters to abuse them to stuff fighters for cash. Ref's do need to get much tougher on stalling on the ground and in the clinch though IMHO, no shotuing "action" and then letting someone carry on because they landed one weak short elbow from guard. We can talk about letting the fight flow but when you limate things to 15 mins and take out so many attacks I think you need to realise that stalling is going to be an issue just as it is in boxing and K1.
