I agree. I was disgusted seeing him dance over the guy that got knocked down. On top of that he's saying that the fighters do this to earn his respect or something like that. He should be teaching people to get in the ring for themselves and not so they can get his all important acceptance. That dog house crap does more harm than good for the fighters.

If he wants to practice what he preaches with this dog house, fight to the end stuff than he shouldn't complain about Maidana apparently taking a nibble of the padded glove he put into his mouth and just kept on fighting. Holyfield wasn't as dramatic as him.

My feelings exactly. What made me sick was seeing the brit come into the gym, and then they let that kid fight him and then have the uk guy fight the older brother on the same day when he didn't even want to fight the kid in the first place.

Then you had floyd winding up the older brother and mum about the kid getting a beating, and then the older brother steps in. Clearly gets beat as he is hanging off the ropes in the end and they still give the guy the win.

To be such an iconic figure and to have such influence over the entire world only to use it to peddle forth the usual stereotypical ignorant gang culture behaviour is a waste.

His actions have a ripple effect, now promising black fighters who look up to him think that replicating his behaviour is the way to achieve things whether in boxing or their day to day living.

Broner is a prime example.
