I noticed that too. I don't like to call a fighter a *****, because I'm not the one in the ring, but that was disappointing as hell. His eye did look bad no doubt though.

LOL exactly....his eyes mysteriously became ok when they were calling out the scorecards....he thought he'd done enough to win the fight....2bh I hope this ***** fights Maidana...and gets his ass knocked out....but after this oscar winning performace....he'll probably find some reason to quit before that happens....

Also, this is exactly why I hate when fighters try to used that tired cliche "i'm willing to die to win."

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_RuYCCaGdk[/ame]

    At 3:40.

Well ok, to be fair, it was Cunningham who said it, but you know Devon was smiling like hell yeah, I'm willing to die baby. And then he quits. Its such a cliche.

On a side note, I like how Joel Diaz doesn't try to hog the spotlight and talk the way Cunningham tries to do...and yet he usually has more to say.

I can honestly say it was a very very disappointing evening, he could have recovered for a minute and had at it. I am very very disappointed in Alexander's performance. I honestly inside did believe that Bradley would take it, but I just never ever imagine it would end like this.. :patsch

This (in my opinion, to me) ranks up there with Cintron's leap....

I wanted to give Alexander the benefit of doubt. But after seeing him just fine a few minutes later, it just felt to me like he didn't want to fight anymore. Maybe he doesn't know how to handle being in a losing effort situation, being that he is an undefeated young fighter.

In retrospect, one can't help but laugh at the amount of **** Cunningham spewed before the fight. Anyone else notice how ****ing long this dude was in the ring!? For a second there it almost looked like he wanted to be in there to help his boy from that ass whoopin. Mid-fight he tells Devon to basically reset back to that lame ass jab followed by arm punches.

The best part of that video is Devon saying that "the fight will be easy." Bradley looked at him like "Damn, you just don't know!" :patsch:rofl

I was there during Cintron's jump. I think he wanted to continue after his fake drama, but by that time the ring physician was freaked out and did not want to take any chances. Kermit's jump was to try and position himself for a better landing. The ***** part was pretending to be hurt, which hospital tests confirmed, he was not.

Sucked, but he is a YOUNG fighter and that was a BRUTAL cut.

    Hopefully he learns and grows.

Alexander behaved like a litlle kid in the ring. I hope further experience allows him to mature and bring his mental toughness on par with his physical talents.
