Nah he didn’t suck Bradley after he beat Maidana and Mccloskey he actually campaigned to fight Bradley.. Top Rank offered Bradley a deal for Pacquiao and Bradley chose that route instead of fighting Khan.. However Khan played it completely safe at WW in hopes of getting Floyd or PAC in the ring.. He chose not to fight Thurman, Porter, Brook etc.. at WW

There is a reason he got so many big fight. Khan is a name that can draw a decent crowd and you aren't going to lose. That is why he was able to get name fighters.

Forgive me if I don't believe in praising mediocrity.

34-6 with a number of titles. Unified light welterweight champ......... That isn't mediocre ......with a number of wins of over world class opposition that isn't mediocre.

Was he elite? No but had an excellent career despite obvious frailties. A world class fighter at his best. Who fought a lot of big names and could consider himself a bit unlucky to not fight Mayweather or Pac (would have lost to either but that's for another day)

Every time a fighter steps in the ring with a live opponent they're potentially risking their health. Of course he deserves credit for taking all those hard fights.

Khan was a notch below Floyd and Pacquiao. Maybe TWO notches below.

Being a notch below 2 all time greats, two of the best ever to do it - still leaves a good fighter.

I'm not saying you should praise guys for fighting the best. I'm saying when guys do step up, and struggle or lose they shouldn't be crucified, like so many fans love to do.

Agreed, I mean he would fight anybody and that's far more than you can say about many others today
