He has a better resume out of Cotto and Calzaghe?

Reason #2 is not a very good one.Calzaghe's career 168-175 pounds.Cotto's career 140-147 pounds.Winky's a great fighter,but he's a natural 154 pounder,Shane started at 135 and is now an older 147.You can't compare the transition through the weights.

 

This is probably the only time i ever picked Calzaghe for anything...

Calslapper has the better resume without a doubt.

I don't think Mosley was a better win than Hop, and I don't think any of Cotto's other wins match Kessler.

 

It's either even, or Calzaghe by a hair.

Given that Cotto is only 28 I doubt this will be the case for long though.

 

I think Joe's resume is much better. Cotto fought good guys, but Joe has fought who they gave him for years. Joe has a good resume.

 

For now calzaghe but cotto is not done yet so i expect him to have a better resume than calzaghe by the time his done fighting.

boxing isnt about 'who they give you' its about the fights you make happen.

i cant believe people think calzaghe deserves reps over the resume against cotto....

Cotto: Disgracefull quit job against Margocheato who then got smashed up by Mosley. I also thought Cotto lost to Mosley. Then fights people like Alfonso Gomez and Michael Jennings thats just as bad as anything Calzaghe done !

Calzaghe undefeated, Unified the titles, champion for over 10 years. Wins over 2 ATG's Hopkins and Jones, Wins over HOF Eubank, Current SMW #1 Kessler.

 

cotto is a good figher, calzaghe is a ATG.
