He was not up at nine, plus Chisora would have knocked him out anyway. And Scott claimed he is the best heavyweight on the planet, by far, and he claimed he would easily knock out both Klitschkos?! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best American heavyweight is Thompson...............

Being up at 9 is irrelevant, he cleary beat the count and was making eye contact with the official the entire time watching the count. Terrible stoppage.

He was up right after 10 ... but 10 is counted out

I watched the fight replay with a clock, and depending on when you consider the knockdown, he was counted out at between 11-13 seconds after he went down, so regardless he had enough time.

    I think Scott wanted out.

The ref literally paused his count for a split second earlier because he was shocked Malik wasnt getting up. No excuse... he did not want to fight.

Nah he was actually up before 10 because the ref counted so slow, the ref sped up his 9 to 10 from his 8 to 9

The more I look at it, the more it looks like Scott just didn't want it.

Someone who wants to keep fighting doesn't necessarily have to blow up when they're stopped in a way they think was unjust, but man, I've never seen someone "protest" a stoppage as meekly as Scott did. Either he's just the happiest man on the planet and nothing's going to get him down, or he was just happy to end the evening early and get paid without having to take too much punishment.

Farmboxer, I'm glad to see that, when you pull stuff straight out of your ass, it's not always about Wilder.

This is progress. You must be taking your meds. I'm happy for you!

the ref got a good pay day, this is what you get with corrupt frank, ref was bad through out the fight especially in the clinches.

what suprises me is Maliks lack of protest after the fight, even in the post, it was like he didnt mind losing at least he got paid, that type of attitude.

I hope we have a good ref for the Haye v Fury fight, is the ref gonna mess that up aswell favoring one fighter over another throughout.

That grin of Frank ******s, that devilish smile like he up to no good, im never gonna watch his fights again

Malik got his soul eaten alive by Chisora. Imagine what Fury or Haye would do to this bum? I think the USA have no heavyweight boxers that are even that decent apart from Wilder. But lets face it Wilder would get knocked unconscious by David Haye!

You need to be up, gloves up and say you're okay by 10. You don't have to be just standing up and you certainly don't need to be just rising. Malik's fault.
