    He lost to a B- level fighter. He was exposed as a hypejob. Al Haymon, GBP, and others can very carefully cherrypick his career to get it back on track, but they can't save his lack of skill.

    it's cool to have your friends, but how many young boxers today do you see bringing their whole neighborhood everywhere they go? you gotta be really strong willed to not be influenced into partying and fooling around when your around so many youngsters. boxing aint a game. what are they doing with their lives to be hanging out with a professional boxer all day long. his focus should be on training and looking out for himself.. not saying he should act brand new and ditch them, but when it's training season, the only entourage should be family and people from his gym. just my opinion.

    no hypejob can move to 147 from 135, stand toe to toe with Maidana and not get KTFO. this dude will be tough to beat at 140.

    He ought to be back.

    Kid is a decent fighter, but a little more time at fight camp and a little less at band camp might help. He cites Floyd as his role model, but you don't see FMJ blowing up 30-40lbs between fights.

    I can't pretend to be a fan, but Broner is a talent it'd be a shame to see wasted (and a life even more so) - kid needs to get back to basics I think, and stop believing his own hype for a start.

    Danny and Lucas will push his **** in if he decides to drop to 140.
    Broner didn't have an off night against a much bigger elite level 147lb'er, he was out boxed and beaten up by a gatekeeper who spent most of his career at 140.
    Broner = Exposed
    Broners fans = Desperate

    i think his pops or floyd should have G checked him. you know how it is for young black kids in the ghetto. broner feels like he made it and has the whole mentality of if im eating my bros gone eat as well. it was not the whole hood with him but he was like 10 deep. but some of those guys are boxers as well.

    he was in shape so i cant say he aint train. was it to much to soon ? should he fought another fighter before fighting maidana ? lil homie talk alot of **** and put a lot of pressure on himself.

    He billed himself as the future of boxing. The undefeated king who will stay undefeated and take over after Pac, May, and others retire. The one who will generate more PPV money than anyone has ever made in history. People placing him top 10 P4P. There were gaping deficiencies witnessed in his game and he spent more time on the canvas rolling around than landing punches when he finally fought a legit opponent (B- level at that). This was a hypejob fully exposed.

    yeah, that mentality will set u up for failure in the long run. he still has a "hood-rich" mind frame blowing money like there's no tomorrow..
    yeah, he was a bit rushed. really had no reason to go to 147 so soon. you gotta let your body develop. he wasn't even having trouble making 135 at the time. and if you aint pure boxer, you're definitely gonna have problems with those big punchers. he was a one punch KO artist at 130, he was then a break-you-down KO artist at 135. i had a feeling his punches wouldnt have much effect at 147. i think he gets the picture now.

    who cares what he billed himself as. real boxing fans knew he wasn't on a floyd or manny level, which are the few boxers who can actually pull off making crazy jumps in weight and succeed. he's still a top fighter imo, he just needed to know his limitations, and hopefully he knows now.

    there are weight classes for a reason. i'd like to see how Canelo, GGG, or Garcia would fair if they decided to jump up 2 divisions with hard punchers in those divisions. would them taking an L in those fights mean theyre hype jobs? nope. because they simply dont belong there.

    but marcos did say he was hurt. so that made me think he felt broner power. to me broner is not a boxer puncher like he wants to be. i think he's a boxer trying to be a boxer puncher. he will have to stop guys with a cumulation of punches. he dont have the garica or lucas one hitter quitters. if his dad was like danny's dad or bradley dad then it might not have went down. no excuses but he needs to mentor. someone he respects and he will listen to i think.

    On top of that his confidence wont even be half of what it was. He is there for the taking now. It aint like he can say he lost to the p4p number one guy either.
