This sounds almost ridiculously simple but my coach used to talk constantly about bending my knees. I can hear it over and over "you gotta bend your knees." This is so important. I did many rounds on the bob and weave line. Of course this is second to sparring. You tube Tyson videos and you can see clips of him bobbing up and down over and over with Kevin Rooney. Just my .02 cents

    you're full of ****.

the head does move. Even if you're not slipping, if you take a step forward your head has either moved or you've left it behind.

by your reasoning the body doesn't move, the feet do.

You've missed the point, look at any top boxer with good balance and you'll notice their head doesn't move, no matter their position the head is stable and aligned correctly. Obviously the head moves it's position in space when you're moving but the head never moves independently or before the body. You shouldn't ever move your head, you move your body so your head is in a different location while keeping the head stable and aligned correctly.

One punch, Heres something that will explain it. On the lads Head There is what I call a Postulater, the Head cant move its something I invented stability. Now this kis had been Boxing 6 month, never had a contest. His head doesnt move it cant the body is moving though, understand. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WScy2GqIEyE[/ame]

the use of a Maze ball will help u work specifically on head movement, but you need to have a balanced stance for your head movement not to make you fall over

I've always understood that you aren't moving your head independantly, as I stated in one of my previous posts. I just think you're making waaay too big a thing about it. The head DOES move. As long as the body compensates for balance there is no issue.

You are over emphasizing the point.

Thats fine, but you will be surprised how many dont understand the concept, and it relates to everything Athletic as regards Feel in regards to Gravity.
