Lennox got my attention in the early 90s, along with guys like Tyson Holy Bowe and Golota. It's too bad we never saw Lewis-Bowe. And I always wanted to see how Lewis would have boxed against Golota had it not ended in a blowout/nervous breakdown.
I like giving Lewis fans ****, but, if not for the two brutal losses in his prime and a few life and death struggles here and there, I would rate him in the top five H2H. As it stands, I would rate him in the top ten H2H. I started following boxing when Holmes was the man and believe prime Holmes would smoke him. Also, prime Holyfield, Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Vitali, and maybe Bowe are enough to put him outside of the top five H2H in my humble opinion.
You missed off Marciano, Joe Lewis, Demsey, Joe Frazier, Riddick Bowe, Sonny Liston, Ken Norton etc etc atsch
He has the size and more importantly skillset to do well against almost anyone. That much is pretty obvious.
Compared to ali maybe, but wlad, no way .. Dont forget wlad had to change his whole sytyle to protect his chin. Lennox on the other hand didnt have this problem. Two unseen shots dosnt mean a weak chin , you never see lennonx just jab jab manhug all fight because he's scared of getting ko'd, nah lennonx brought the war to you like a true warrior would . I grew up watching lennonx and hes in a diferent leauge than wlad imo, top 3 ATG and could beat any man on his day..
Oh dear... are just trying to real off a nostalgic list of past great HW's? H2H Marciano gets dropped and stopped quickly. Marciano was a 5ft 11' 185-190lbs man... how the **** on gods green earth do you fathom he would stand a chance against a quicker, technically superior, 6ft 6' 240-245lbs man??????? Lay off the crack dude
He has a win over every opponent he ever faced professionally so you have to rank him at the top considering the deep era he fought in. Only Tunney and Marciano can claim the same, but they nevery defeated a superheavyweight. Lennox is #1 with a bullet.
