So Ortiz's best win is a guy who gave an old Wlad a few problems. And that's enough to call him one of the best heavyweight southpaws of all time?

Haha! Yes. Trembling with laughter. Love Audley though…a boxer whose Prime boxing years started and ended at the Olympics.

What are "forum standards"? I thought "life and death" was when you're badly hurt, probably multiple times, dropped, out on your feet, in survival mode for extended periods etc. None of this remotely describes Wilder-Duhaupas, which was only marginally competitive. Wilder had his eye badly swollen by the end of it but he didn't panic whatsoever, no looking for the exit as AJ and Dubois would.

Wilder more than tripled Duhaupas' punch count, was never hurt or dropped, won every or almost every round according to reviewers on eyeonthering and was ahead by similar margins with the judges. He stopped Duhaupas in 11, who had never been stopped in 34 fights, beat Charr, KO'd a 22-0 Helenius in Finland post-Wilder, went 12 rounds with relentless KO artist roiders Teper and Miller post-Wilder. And it wasn't a farce fight on literally one day's notice.

Head to head Ortiz might be the oldest southpaw HW ranked in the Ring Top 10. 55 is a pretty old age.

    "Didn't look interested"

Unfalsifiable and subjective nonsense. Jennings let out a scream of anguish when he was stopped, Wlad looked horribly depressed when Fury started signing Aerosmith. They failed because their opponents were a lot better on the night, not because they "weren't motivated". This isn't Andy Ruiz or Buster Douglas on a pizza binge where there's actual evidence of a lack of motivation. Jennings and Wlad especially were both ultra-disciplined athletes, always in shape and always motivated, especially in big fights.

Outboxing and knocking out Jennings in 7 is a better win than getting a controversial decision over Ruiz or a controversial win over Chisora or a controversial win over Hughie Fury or a controversial win over Parker.

"IMHO Ortiz resume doesn't even measure up against Chisora"

    "Madness."

    You got that right.

Bubbles hates Wilder and therefore hates Ortiz. If Joshua had beaten Ortiz in a war then he'd have no problem with Ortiz, he'd be a "top contender" just like Dillian Whyte, Joseph Parker and Andy Ruiz.

You can't polish a turd, no matter how hard you try.

Wilder's resume is full of turds.

Get back to me when Wilder suffers a defeat equivalent to being dropped 4 times and quitting against a 25-1 underdog, 5'11, non-punching late sub, whose best wins were unconvincing 10 round decisions over Liakhovich and Kevin Johnson.

Right on & he can join Crawford's club of never knowing how good he ever was at his peak or his true potential regardless of his Boogeyman Hype that was forced upon us....................

Ibragimov and Chagaev are better as well.
Chagaev was the first fighter to beat Valuev and held a title.
Ibragimov only lost to Klitschko and was a champ at some point.

You mean, like this? With headgear and balloon gloves? I wonder what he wore to the ring that day?

Wilder had less than 30 months of boxing experience when he fought Romanov (5 days after a 4 round war with star amateur Chakhkiev, who Wilder beat) and although he was dropped once and stopped, he never quit.

Based on the amateurs Joe Joyce is chinny.
