I lean towards Brooks ever so slightly. Both have shown brilliance and glaring weakness. Which actually makes for a good matchup.
The answer is of course The Special One. There is something missing from Thurman that means he's short of being an elite fighter. I feel he suffers an identity crisis in the ring about what type of fighter he wants/ tries to be. For a 50/50 on paper fight, it would be a one sided drubbing in the ring similar to Froch v Bute. :nod
I think the only thing that Thurman is truly missing is a chin. :happy Brook I believe has better timing and will beat Thurman. I think he has an edge in speed as well... I think Keith is good but not as good as Brook. Would love to see this fight happen so Brook can start adding other quality opponents to his resume.
I looked forward to Keith Thurman's post fight interview on the off chance his jaw is still in one piece: "Keith One Time Thurman, told you all Keith One Time Thurman wasn't afraid to let the 0 go, that why Keith One Time Thurman took this fight. On this night, Kell Brook was better than Keith One Time Thurman. But Keith One Time Thurman will watch the video of Kell Brook vs Keith One Time Thurman tomorrow and Keith One Time Thurman will see there Keith One Time Thurman went wrong and Keith One Time Thurman will be a better fighter for it. Keith One Time Thurman takes his hat off to Kell Brook who is a magnificent fighter, but rest assure Keith One Time Thurman will be back. If you smellllllllllll what Keith One Time Thurman is cooking!!!!!!"
:rofl But as you said I think it's most likely that instead of doing a post fight interview Thurman and his people will be trying to find all the pieces of his chin.
I voted Thurman for patriotic reasons. ('Murica!) I can definitely see Brook winning this bout. I think a lot of my fellow Americans are sleeping on Brook, excellent boxer.
brook ko is most likely. Think Thurman will taste brooks power early on, get on his bike for the next few rounds before getting caught late on trying to rescue the fight. Brook UD could also be an option as Thurman strikes me as the type to go 12 rounds when he's losing and then claim he's won, rather than through caution to the wind and try and go for a KO. Take away chavez, thurmans opponents have either been shot, shyte or both
