Yep. Hopefully they can get Mitchell a rematch with Linares and he wins (though I still don't think he would beat Linares) And they build Campbell up over the next 12 months with a couple of significant fights. I feel confident he'd beat Burns at this stage, although Burns has enough experience and enough staying power to give Luke some valuable experience so that's the fight I'd put him in next or the fight after, followed by Zlantican which I think would be the final eliminator for Linares' belt.
People don't even realise how good Campbell is. Our best amateur of all time and done everything right so far as a pro. If Maduma can outbox Mitchell I'm pretty sure Campbell can.
Campbell is several levels above Mitchell. Anyone thinks Mitchell has a chance, especially these days, is a bit tapped in the head.
Several levels above?? He struggled to stop Tommy Coyle ffs, a guy Gethin almost sparked out in round 2 and who was down 4 times against what looked like was a Romanian gypsy.
Campbell was coasting in the fight.. . The better the fighter the better the performance.. A little bit like selby
But as a pro boxer.... Who in fairness boxed very well against derry(i no derry aint luke).... But his aporoach was Absolutly dredfull for a 23 fight pro... And ibf international champ(somehow)
I wouldn't look too much into the IBF international champion. I've been that 4 times and I've never had a pro fight.
Several levels? Really? Well I must be tapped in the head. If your best win is a poor Coyle and he is dragging you 10 rounds then what level are you at? Very insulting to Mitchell in my opinion.
