Has this just been made legal worldwide or just in the United States?

Ward had an invisible glove on his head. They were scoring blows.

The new rule is limited to the sauerland six, but it's not limited to head butts. It says the hometown fighter gets to foul at will without repurcussions.

It's legal in Europe too - depends on who holds the show - Had Ward done what he did last night to Ottke in Germany he would have been disqualified by round 2 - had Ottke done it to Ward in Germany Ward would have been disqualified by round 10-12 ;)

Headbutts is sadly a part of boxing - and of course Ward should have gotten a warning early in fight - I doubt it would have changed the outcome - but sadly for Ward too this tarnished his win.

I would have given Ward loads of credit for this fight, had he fought more clean - now I'll settle for impressive he won - but I hope he gets knowcked out flat next time around - his dirty style is an disgrass to boxing and his hit-hold tactics reminds me more or lass of a young Ottke ... and it's such a shame, because when he actully boxes without the dirty tricks and holding he is a joy to watch!
