Headgear has been removed in the UK! What do you think of this?

Would I be happier? Yeah. But I still think it's a bad idea. I feel the amatuers are just to get experience and then turn pro... Why get cut up like that and risk additional injury for no money? I know the headgear won't protect against whiplash/brain injury. But I just think amauter fight is structured so you fight more frequently and are constantly training, unlike the pros where you get cut up, heal for 2 months then fight again. Am fighters fight multiple times per month. I just think it takes away more than it adds.
