headgear with the face protecting bar

I'm a teacher, so the face bar is needed, I can't be coming into teach kids with black eyes. I must admit though, that you can get a false sense of security from it. Whenever I get caught with a big shot it rarely ever registers, if I didn't have the face bar I don't think I would take it so well.
