Basically jr thinks all GGG has is punching power. Ok I guess that is not so bad of an ****ysis.

Some say Jr is hated by many Mexicans unlike Canelo. So the question is, in a match between Jr and GGG who will get more Mexican support in the arena?

I think GGG will because of his proven popularity with Mexicans and Jr being viewed as a lazy spoiled kid by Mexicans.

He doesn't have a proven popularity with Mexicans in general. Yes that's what he's trying to do and it's working for him to some extent but in Mexico most of the casuals probably haven't heard of him. Even if they have, they'd support Chavez.

Jr felt Martinezs shots at times, Im sure he will feel G's.

To be honest as fun as it would be to see G maul Jr, I think he should just stay and keep doing his thing at middleweight.

Unlike Froch or Ward - I dont think there would be any temptation in the Golovkin camp to "bulk up" and put on mass that would be difficult to lose.

For Jr it would just be a one-off where he had easier fight week prep, and stepped into the ring at the same weight he usually does.

If there is a 160 belt available I would rather see that, but hey - since things are currently looking bleak for May/June opponent-wise if Jr wanted to step up I'd say cool :good
