Hearn and AJ want Wilder fight agreed before Dec 1st

    Beating Fury will raise his profile, there's no doubt about that. Which is why Hearn wants the AJ deal done before Fury is on Wilder's resume. I'm not arguing Wilder's profile is like and on/off switch but that will be flicked by a Fury win/loss but it will be enhanced. It's big, yes. Defeating Fury would make it bigger...

    I agree, that is why he wants the fight agreed before, but because of its potential success in the U.S. It’s easy to spin the UK PPV’s story; people bought it because it was Fury. But in the U.S no such story can be spun. So it goes, people would have bought it because it’s Wilder. Suddenly that fighter has proven commercial value, and in a market that is potentially a lot greater than the UK, and one that Joshua hasn’t cracked.

    Either way, we agree that Hearn would like a deal done before Wilder’s worth grows further. We just disagree on where that worth will be measured.
