At this point, it's beginning to sound like a Ponzi scheme. Can someone get one totally deluded Saudi prince to cough up $80 to $100 million to cover the fighters' guarantees ... so Matchroom can say they have the money and keep all parties from bailing ... Even though the fight isn't worth that much and there won't be a gate or US PPV sales, which would normally account for the bulk of that money for a fight like this ... And they have to hope enough Brits pay 29.99 to at least make it look like it wasn't a complete financial scam and they can all save face and maybe salvage a rematch down the road sometime. But the truth is all the British boxing fans in the UK won't buy enough PPVs for the "biggest fight ever" to cover what one Saudi prince is being asked to pay. I kind of hope they pull it off - from the pure treachery aspect. And I'd rather see Fury and Joshua fight each other than most others. But, it all seems very "Ponzi-like" at the moment.
