OK card with a poor main event. Wtf is Lebedev doing? I get it, you old as **** now but either step up or just walk away.
wouldnt mind seeing zhang lol lebedev is just collecting paychecks now, cant blame him at all! unsure how good gonzalez is, could be an okay fight. Never heard of meng but buglioni is pretty beatable by anyone above british level.. competitive fights apart from the lebedev one probably.
Come on now, it’s an absolute waste of a show. I’ve torn into plenty of Frank Warren cards before and acknowledge that Hearn clearly has the best card of the year so far with that Whyte-Parker show.
Yeah I agree But It's just more Hearn hating, it's pathetic now, I will give Hearn hammer if he deserves it and he does really deserve it sometimes but just picking at everything he does or says is actually embarrassing. A lot of these posters are grown men, some grown men with children, and they are on here like little old women "Hearn lied.." "Hearn taking L's" "Hearn Exposed" Get a grip of yourselves ffs.
He's got Chinese and Russian fighters at a casino in Monaco. It's a card for high rollers. The millionaires in attendance will drop far more in the casino than he'd ever make in ticket sales there. They'll probably buy and sell a few oilfields or stealth fighters in between the fights. Everyone's a winner.
I wouldn't go to it, so I'm not even going to pretend it's good but at it is what it is.. These fighters get paid and sometimes the cards that are torn to pieces turn out to be quite entertaining. They are not all going to be great cards, that is impossible but it just seems like another excuse to have a pop at Hearn, its relentless on here.
Nah I think it’s a waste of a show and I’m questioning the motives because that’s two awful Monte Carlo shows on the trot and the first one was terrible even though it was promising on paper (Ortiz-Scott...). Hearn has too many fighters he should have canned this one or at least put on more meaningful fights. Of course people could just say don’t watch it, but people pay good money for a Sky subscription and boxing fans who pay for Sky have a right to expect decent content. Also this thread has nothing to do with Warren anyway.
China has virtually no interest in professional Boxing whatsoever, it's a fringe sport over there. Hence why any of their fighters even with a weak pulse try to make it in America. AJ v anyone Chinese will not be happening soon unless he decides to pick up a table tennis bat.
He is working with what he has. And he is making it work rather well. I am rather excited for Jacobs vs Derevyanchenko and Usyk vs Bellew. And i am gutted that BJS vs Andrade fell through.
If you own a casino you are very supportive of anything that brings Chinese customers through the door. This may not be the most enticing card to a boxing fan but to a casino owner in Monaco it's just the ticket.
Agree with that, there will be plenty of Chinese punters around the casino I was referring to the possibility of an AJ fight in mainland China.
