Every fighter on this card has the status of a plum.

 

Absolutely Vijender would be a good add. . . .British and U.S. fans are so arrogant to believe that unless a card is filled with UK and American fighters its a crap show. . Boxing foremost is a sports business. Promoters present shows to make money not to make boxing forum members happy . . . By including boxers from China and India a promoter will add multiple times the numbers of viewing fans thus more eyes for sponsors and advertisers. Great Britain is #21 in population rankings.

 

This card is so horrendous, and yet these idiot Monégasque who DKSAB are just like "yes please STFU and take our money as we boast of the world class boxing events taking place in our lavish microstate! " ...probably having zero idea who any of the combatants are, which is fair enough, but it could also be a WBSS finals double-header with a stacked undercard and they'd be just as clueless.

Just another of many. The vast majority of cards each year are junk - if we're all being honest, we likely get about a dozen cards throughout the year which are genuinely good. Obviously there are cards with good individual fights here and there aside from that. This one is just a Euro-level version of the stuff he usually puts on at places like the Copper Box and whatnot.

 

Eddie and matchroom must be paid a right few quid to hold an event in Monaco.

especially with this sort of card is it just attended by a bunch of millionaire casuals bored who fancy something different on a Saturday night in Monte Carlo?

Card’s bad, but as a fan obsessed with heavyweight I can’t say I mind Zhang-Ustinov as it’s finally a step up for a fairly talented fighter who’s running out of time. Zhang should crush Ustinov if he’s any really any good though, so the chances of it being a decent fight are pretty low.

On the card itself, obviously he has to squeeze a card in here before Canelo fights and you have Fury fight on Dec. 1st.
