Too risky for Wilder. Wilder -Rivas down at the Mobile Civic Theater in front of 1800 screaming bongsquadians.

I think Wilder will generate a lot more interest going forward than most of you are giving him credit for.

Also agreed on AJ retiring in the not too distant future. There isn't the talent pool to justify the large promotions needed to make the available opponents seem challenging. There's only so many times people will get hyped and pay to see him chase down another fat midget from Macedonia or whatever.

In fact, unless Fury suddenly becomes amazing overnight or he KO's Wilder in spectacular fashion, you could argue that AJ's win over Wlad means in the public consciousness at least, he has peaked as an athlete, at least in terms of achievement.

I think it's too early to know for sure if AJ will retire in a few years or if he'll be like Wlad a try to reign for a long time. Even if he disposes of the likes of Wilder and Fury, he then has a possible fight with the winner of Usyk/Gassiev, he has Joyce looking to be making a title shot inside 2 years, which would be a big domestic clash.

I'm sure options will become available, especially if he vacates or is stripped of any belts and they get picked up, meaning more potential unification fights.

Al Haymons garage, it's actually quite big, but Al said he isn't removing his cars, so maximum capacity around 45, maybe 60 is they make it all standing.

Exactly! Parker rematch ffs. That was one the most boring HW bouts in recent memory.

Yeah you're probably right actually, he won't want to retire out of lack of available fights but I can foresee challenges in constantly hyping up his next opponent/s long term, at least if Wilder isn't in the mix. Parker and Whyte rematch, yawwn.

yeah it probably will be 2, why do you think he'll retire soon?
i think he'll be around for another 2 or years at least, needs to ko fury and wilder before he retires

One has to say though Hamed has been a real ***** in interviews, even to some of his own fans sometimes. I think part of the public was happy for him to lose like they were happy when Adrien Broner lost. They polarized people and thrived on the publicity the polarization brought them.

I can't see AJ falling that badly with the public if he lost like a real man, showing humility admitting defeat gallantly.

If Whyte beats Parker and AJ beats Povetkin, then I predict AJ Vs Whyte in April
