Don't think so. I think they are struggling as it is, would make it a bit easier if they had more fighters on board. Plus it would help other promotions. Just having Matchroom on Sky is rather wank.

    Nobody else gets the opportunity.

:think But he's contracted to 20 dates, so why would he give anything to any other promotor? He's said this himself, has Eddie. I think it's BS tbh:huh

Well you would if you are struggling to fill them??? :good

That Barker card was awful, and virtually said it himself.

He can't put Froch on everysingle card can he?

He needs more fighters involved in great fights on his cards, it dont matter if they are from another promotion, or that nobody has heard of them, if they fight in great fights on his card, and make a name for them self, its win-win.

They need the opportunity though, there is plenty of fighters out there that want the break and a chance.

Join venture won't mean giving dates to promoters, probably means co-promotion. If hes working with Hatton he can do a bill with Frampton & Quigg on the same card leading to a fight between them. They can do Barker vs Murray, Vassell v Purdy II, Towers can challenge for the British on a Brook card.

True, but that's happened lots of times anyway without a joint venture deal - McDonnell on the Brook card, Lee on the Frampton card.. :happy Although it would be good to see more good fighters who aren't Matchroom fighters

It's obvious to me though who it is, they get on well, never have a bad word to say about eachother, both quite similar in the way they do business and seen them out and about together.......

I made a thread a few weeks ago that Haton & Hearn were putting together a deal to work together where Hatton fighters would appear on Matchroom cards, I would imagine thats what it is. Things in Boxing change on a daily basis though.

Those were one offs, this would be a long term deal.

Hatton makes the most sense as he could still work with Coldwell without any deal. Just recently he's used Dickens and Crolla. These plus Quigg an Murray could really help stack a card. Also helps make domestic scraps down the line. Helps undercards as well with Rabchenko, Jenkins, Etches coming through
