Because Khan is a totally different case and an easy fight for Pacquiao. Calling out Arum for a repetitive lie doesn't mean that anything else he says is automatically a lie as well.

I do because like I followed Arum closely, I followed Khan as well so I can tell who's lying and who's not. Khan is well known for his supreme ability to call out opponents he knows he will never face straight on twitter. That's something Khan has done his ENTIRE career. When he got sparked against Prescott he claimed he begged for a rematch, only to contradict himself a week later by blaming his trainer and weight class like he knows his fans are too ******ed to notice. Same thing when he was sparked against Garcia, he knew that the winner of their fight HAD to fight Morales or lose the WBC title, so he barked relentlessly. When Garcia beat Morales, Khan was nowhere to be found.

Now here's another reminder of what happened when Khan pretended to call out Pacquiao to arouse and deceive(in the dumbest most recurring way possible) his group of goats. Arum responded to Khan's call-out literally hours after he started barking. Did Khan respond back?, no he didn't. If anything Khan looked more interested to respond and comment regarding his fight with teenagers in the street. When Arum moved on and announced Algieri vs Pacquiao, Khan came out barking. It's really easy to see through this clown compared to Arum.

 

Arum responded to Khan on the 30th of June, Pacquiao vs Algieri was officially announced the 16th of July.

 

Arum is definitely able to make an offer. However, Pacquiao is the bigger name and champion here, shouldn't Khan's team contact Arum for a fight?. Or should Arum take Khan's well-known twitter nonsense as negotiating?.

Floyd responded to who?, Khan?. Yes he did, he pretty much told him to F off and is fighting a competitive opponent(as proven) in Maidana again.

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever for Pacquiao to turn down a fight with Khan. Khan used to be his sparring partner and Khan is clearly a vulnerable fighter who has absolutely nothing but speed. If Khan was serious this fight would have immediately happened. Arum knows that the general public won't be too interested in a fight with Algieri anyway which is why he immediately(literally hours only) responded to Khan. When that was proven to be bogus, as expected, he moved on.

 

Yes there is a reason Khan would turn down that fight and the people that believe otherwise(especially the wackjobs that believe Mayweather and Pacquiao are "ducking" Khan of all fighters ) are way off. While Khan himself would be glad to fight, his management is being paid for a reason. A fight with Pacquiao won't be as big as a fight with Mayweather would be, that's why this Pacquiao talk never happened. Arum responded to him immediately and Arum rarely does that when he's not serious. Literally only hours after Khan opened his mouth, Arum responded. If that doesn't look like someone serious then take a look at what Khan did in return, he didn't say a thing till Arum announced Pacquiao vs Algieri nearly three weeks later. Really the facts are brutally against Khan(as usual when he calls out fighters he knows he will never fight) yet again here, I wouldn't bother to go further if I were you.

Yes I do believe that both Pacquiao and Mayweather do want to fight each other, this sport is their life/jobs. Honestly, I think that both of them stalling on fighting each other back when it mattered most was nothing but a business move. Why cash it all out in one super mega fight when you can fight more opponents and secure more paydays in return?. It's a given that whoever loses their fight won't have the big support they once had so they milked their support to the last drop. If you ask me though, Mayweather played a major role in killing off negotiations far more than Arum. His ludicrous demands are literally ongoing.
