Well what chance did we have of getting the card scrutinised when they won't even acknowledge photographic evidence of him being on his phone during the fight?

Just shut that **** show down. They've reached FIFA in the last years of Blatter levels of not giving a **** about trying to hide their corruption.

They are doing 1 mil + PPVs and the headliners might make 1 mil, if that. They have a monopoly and rob most their fighters blind.

You are talking out of your ass a bit here.
A UFC PPV headliner of a card that sells 1mil PPV´s, won´t walk away with just a mere 1mil. That is ridiculous.

But yes, UFC does keep a lot of the revenue. It was reported that fighters got only 16% of the revenue. But then there is the company itself. It takes a lot of money to run that thing. And then the cost of promotion as well.
Then there is this thing with their investors, which I have not paid any attention to.

The most interesting thing is that other MMA promotions aren´t paying more. That´s the funny thing. They could easily get the big names from UFC if the money was just there.

It´s not as bad as people make it out to be. Go look at any big boxing card and it´s easily comparable to UFC.

UFC 246: McGregor vs. Cowboy Fighter Salaries

    • Brian Kelleher $46,000 (includes $23,000 win bonus) def. Ode Osborne $10,000
    • Diego Ferreira $100,000 (includes $50,000 win bonus) def. Anthony Pettis $155,000
    • Roxanne Modafferi $62,000 (includes $31,000 win bonus) def. Maycee Barber $29,000

    • Askar Askarov $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus) def. Tim Elliott $31,000
    • Drew Dober $110,000 (includes $55,000 win bonus) def. Nasrat Haqparast $25,000
    • Aleksa Camur $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus) vs. Justin Ledet $20,000
    • Sabina Mazo $24,000 (includes $12,000 win bonus) vs. JJ Aldrich $30,000

      Fighter Purse Guarantee
      Manny Pacquiao $6M $20
      MShane Mosley $3.95M $5M
      Kelly Pavlik $270K
      Alfonso Lopez $40K
      Wilfredo Vazquez Jr $165K
      Jorge Arce $125K
      Mike Alvarado $50K
      Ray Narh $22.5K

UFC does build stronger cards and spends way more money on them.

Do the fighters deserve more? Absolutely. But they are free to negotiate.
And IMO, the lower tier guys get ****ed over the same in UFC as boxing.
