I don't know if this is sarcasm but if it's not and you are agreeing with that clown what we're saying is that fighters have to fight everybody possible, absolutely everyone, career defining fight after career defining fight because that's the only way that can happen, four or five fights a year against the absolute best as if they'll be available in allotted time, like doing two WBSS a year where only the absolute best sign up. The only fighter this century that is anywhere near that is Manny when he just went on a roll of huge fights, doing the unthinkable at times.

You're not wrong about Khan being handed a lot early in his pro run and being carefully maneuvered and protected from threats on the way up, but he did ultimately prove he could hang at world class. Benn is on that carefully maneuvered and protected route and hasn't yet shown he can hang at the higher level — lifer boxing fans are inevitably going to balk at him speak dismissively of a guy who faced (and defeated some) quality opposition on the world stage. Khan's career wasn't close to great, but Benn would still be happy to leave boxing with half of his accomplishments.
