Hearn: Can You Imagine What Benn Would Do To Khan? It'd Be Over in Two Rounds!

I wish all the best of luck to Benn but i really have seen no evidence that he is an elite level WW. I do however believe he is one of the most improved British fighters of the last 2 or 3 years as when he started i truly didnt think he was a competent boxer now its very fair to say he is British/European level, which really is remarkable achievement from where he startrd and you have to give him props for his hard work. However knocking out Vargas (even thoigh it was immpresive in manner), labouring to a clear points win against a granados who clearly had no intentions of winning the fight and knocking out a semi retired Chris Algeri whos best days were a decade and a weight division ago does not tell me you are an elite level WW. Yes some of his finishes have been highlight reel stuff (and i will admit Benn is fun to watch) but you know who else had highlight reel kos ? Josh Kelly then he went in with David Avasyen and it became clear he wasng ready for that level. There is a reason Hearn hasnt been talking about Benn vs DA.

 

The worst thing about Benn is the fact he always eats with his mouth open whilst giving an interview to IFL.

I'm not a fan of Khan. I want Brook to beat him. I just don't rate Conor Benn.

As fans, we should not really be giving Hearns comments about Khan fighting Brook any attention. Kelly or Avenesyan would be perfect opponents for Benn
