So all you Hearn nuthuggers who laughed and mocked people for it, what can you say now? Hearn told IFL he has spoken to Haymon and now its up to AJ.
they were still correct not to just accept it straight away. they did the sensible thing and asked a few questions regarding the pertinents. Now they have the answers and the balls in their court
im curious to see how many men step up and admit they did a lot of yappin out the ass about this one.
@Puroresu_Fan @OpinionOfACasual Come in here and apologise to my G Deontay Wilder. Both of you mocked the offer as fantasy. Get ready for the duck of the century from the terrified bodybuilder.
There are a few who vehemently believed in the offer from the outside. Myself and @Sephiroth Rising 7 knew it from day one.
Interesting that this comes out just as pictures of Hearn talking to Ryabinsky emerge. So AJ-Povetkin will be next no doubt
Wilder - Breazale is already signed. The offer was for after September so he could get that out the way.
Fine, so long as AJ-Wilder comes RIGHT after Wilder-Dommy B and AJ-Pov then I can be content. I will riot until I see confirmation of that though
Last IFL interview Hearn says there is no proof of funds for the $50 mill and that what he was asking for was misconstrued by the media and fans. He wasn't asking for the sum to be guaranteed or at least not yet, but all he got was an email from Wilder saying he had $50 mill, which quite frankly is meaningless as we all know Haymon would be the guy bank rolling the fight and all Hearn wanted form Haymon was confirmation this offer was legit. Suffice to say it seems they are still negotiating terms and by the end of next week they'll know if it happens or not. This content is protected
We all know that the $50m is legit. It's there and tangible. Eddie said the only real outstanding issue is whether Joshua wants it in Vegas. He wouldn't say that if he wasn't convinced that the money is there. Like I said, brace yourself for the duck of the century from the man who is on camera saying that he would have sign if he is offered 50 mil.
It was always legit, it was just slickster Hearn buying more time while AJ does "an evening with" events in leisure centre function rooms up and down the country. Given the recent news re Povetkin, it seems he's bought himself at least another 9 months FML. The kitchen is heating up now, will be interesting to see how long AJ decides to stay in it.
I'm not claiming I knew it was legit but put it this way: if Eddie Hearn was a double glazing salesman, they'd be a lot of people on here with new windows.....
Will be interesting to see if Hearn deliberately plays this out long enough for Fury to step in with Wilder first, to test the waters.
So Haymon has done what Eddie asked him to do. That's good news. People should be pleased that negotiations are progressing, not point-scoring like children.
