Haye by KO. Round 4 or 5.

  3. Wonder why it's not going to be a stadium fight

They could sell 50 thousand for this I'm sure so why not, make it a night to go down in history

That's a fair shout as I don't think that the football conversion starts for a while. It'll be the MEN no doubt.

The multi-use stadiums all have pitch protection systems, so that's not an issue.
The weather would be the main problem, if we're saying that Wembley is too big, and Cardiff is out of the way.

    Ricoh Arena?

Could probably squeeze 35,000 into it with on pitch seating and there's not going to be any football played their next season.

Good shout, but I think Cov will still play there next year.

My Idea was Old Trafford Cricket ground. Season finished. Brand new state of the art stands. Potentially can be a cool venue, but you couldnt have the ring in the middle of the pitch, way too big.

Does this fight actually sell fifty thousand tickets though?

Does Tyson Fury pull that many fans? Does Haye?

It's a non world title fight, Fury hasn't proved himself to be a massive ticket seller and Haye has been guilty of conning the public in the past with some fights which may not endear them to him. The fact that Manchester seems to be the suggested venue for the fight suggests to me that is where most of the tickets will sell, Haye would only agree to this for financial reasons (ie Manchester is where it makes most cash) so that suggests that this fight relies on Fury shifting a LOT of tickets.

Is there any evidence to suggest he will do those numbers? Is he that big up in the north west?

Dont think this fight needs a "title" to sell, Fury has been getting decent exposure on channel 5 and the average Joe knows him aswell. Haye is well known also so i think this could easily sell out a stadium.

Chisora/Haye after all the drama with the press conference and the Luxembourg issue only did 25k so 50k is a pretty hefty jump. I'd imagine this fight will do similar numbers of around 25k although the PPV figures will almost certainly be lucrative.

Why not Birmingham mutual ground just like the FA Cup semi finals that use to be at villa park?
